Dr Jeremy Hunt Makes Time For Interplast
Although Dr Jeremy Hunt runs the most successful Plastic Surgery practice in Sydney, he will always find the time to do volunteer work for Interplast Australia & New Zealand. Dr. Hunt is able to help the less fortunate people around the world live a more normal life by using his skills as a plastic surgeon and working with Interplast.
What Is Interplast?
Interplast Australia & New Zealand is a program that provides free medical treatment and training to developing countries in the Asia Pacific Region. Surgeons, Doctors, and Nurses volunteer their time to give free treatment to people with disabilities such as cleft lip and palate or burn scar contractures. These are just a couple examples of what they do. Jeremy is one of the surgeons who will be there to volunteer his surgical expertise.
Interplast Is International
Interplast goes to many countries where there are disadvantaged children. Jeremy has performed surgeries for Interplast and the disadvantaged in countries such as Belize and the Dominican Republic and has also done voluntary surgery in South East Asia. Thanks to Interplast and Dr. Hunt there are several children who can now live normal lives.
Other countries that Interplast has helped are: Mongolia, Bangladesh, Laos, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Pacific Island Countries, Viet Nam, And Papua New Guinea. They, along with surgeons like Jeremy have also helped people in Nepal.
